After you’ve had the baby, you may want some guidance with breastfeeding. Whether you need help finding a comfortable latch and position for your baby, or you have concerns that your baby isn’t getting enough milk, or maybe you would just like some reassurance. This is where I can help.
In the comfort of your own home, we will work on achieving an optimal latch and positioning of your baby so that it is both comfortable for you and effective for your infant. Using a specially calibrated scale allows me to weigh your baby before and after they feed to make certain there is an adequate intake of milk. Home visits typically last between 1.5 and 2 hours, and include a detailed written care plan tailored to your needs and the needs of your baby. I also provide a Lactation Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
A home visit fee is $250, payable with cash or personal check. A follow up home visit is $200 and the fee for twins is $275.
